Rock of Hope International is committed to transforming lives, changing communities, impacting families and saving children.

Rock of Hope International was started in 1997 in response to the needs of destitute and impoverished children. What started out with a few children has now grown to many and affected an entire community. However, the need is great and we cannot continue without your help. We need your support to move forward in reaching a greater number of children.

History

In 1997 Church on the Rock make a decision to go beyond their walls and make a significant difference in the lives of destitute and impoverished children throughout the world. While we were praying about the places and possibilities to start helping, the Lord connected us to a Christian couple in Chennai India, during one of our trips there. It was a divine connection, as they had the same desire and mandate but lacked the funds to do it. Partnering with them, COTRIM started helping homeless and abandoned children, a few at a time. This couple became the house parents of what is now Hebron Children’s Home.

Over the years, Church on the Rock was also able to impact the community where these children lived by providing a medical camp and by digging a well.

With the understanding that much more needed to be done throughout the world, in 2007, Rock of Hope International, the missionary arm of Church on the Rock was birthed.

Since then we have increased the number of children we help in India and are helping several children in Sri Lanka. With the generous contributions of our donors and sponsors Rock of Hope International is able to help many children. But there is so much more to be done. There are many more children awaiting our help around the world. Partner with us to change the lives and destinies of  many more children and communities around the world.

Our Call

To break the chains of injustice, and free the oppressed.

  • Taking hands that reach out for help and leading them towards independence

Sharing the food with the hungry, inviting the homeless poor into your homes, and putting clothes on the shivering ill-clad

  • We supply clean water, food, and other basic necessities like toiletries, blankets etc. to children and families who are trying to survive in war ravaged communities.
  • Destitute Children find hope for a brighter future. There is food to eat, clothing to wear, books and transportation. All that is necessary for a good education and life out of poverty.

Our Commitment

We aim to maximize our finances to help those who need it the most and as we have in the past, we will continue to use all means available to us to keep our administrative and fund-raising cost to a minimum.
